In 1974, something happened that changed America forever.
The man on the street probably had no idea it took place... yet over the next five decades this single event would help transfer trillions of dollars out of the hands of regular folks and into America’s asset-owning elite.
In July 1974, Treasury Secretary William Simon boarded an 8 AM flight from Andrews Air Force Base.
Officially, he was beginning a routine diplomatic tour. But under orders from Henry Kissinger and the Nixon White House, Simon’s real mission was a secret four-day layover in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
What he proposed to King Faisal would effectively reset the U.S. dollar.
Saudi Arabia would price its oil exclusively in dollars.
And the billions it earned would be recycled into U.S. Treasury bonds.
In return, America would guarantee the security of the Saudi Kingdom with the full force of the U.S. military.
The dollar was no longer anchored to gold. It was anchored to the one commodity the modern world could not function without. The petrodollar was born, and the greatest repricing in American history began.
Something that cost $100 in 1974 costs more than $600 today. Food became more expensive. Housing became more expensive. Healthcare, education, energy, practically every part of American life was radically repriced.
In other words, the petrodollar divided America in two:
Between those who owned a piece of the system, and those who were owned by it.
The petrodollar era is ending. And my research tells me President Trump is quietly enacting the first complete reset of America’s money since Kissinger’s deal in the desert.
This time, the dollar will not be anchored to gold, or to oil.
Instead, Trump’s plan is linked to a narrow band of essential resources, the minerals, energy, and critical physical infrastructure without which the greatest technology of our age cannot exist.
I believe we are standing at the beginning of another great repricing, and the beginning of The Silicon Dollar era.
That’s why I’ve produced an important new documentary to help you understand, and prepare for, what could happen next.
Inside, I reveal exactly what my research suggests Trump is doing, how his new monetary order could impact your savings and investments, and the five companies I believe could benefit most.
I’ll also give you the name and ticker of one asset you can buy today for immediate exposure to what’s unfolding.
Good investing,
Porter Stansberry
